Jaguars,

Happy New Year, and welcome to the start of second semester! I hope you had a safe, restful, and enjoyable Winter Break and are ready to begin this next chapter of the school year with renewed energy and purpose.

As we reflect on 2025, we recognize that it brought both challenges and opportunities. I am incredibly proud of your resilience, growth, and accomplishments throughout the first semester. As we move into 2026, let us do so with optimism, determination, and a commitment to giving our best each day.

Second semester is a fresh start for everyone. If your first semester did not go as planned, now is the time to reset, refocus, and move forward with confidence. Your teachers are ready and eager to support you. If you had a strong first semester, I encourage you to maintain that momentum—or challenge yourself to reach even higher goals.

Please remember that many resources are available to support your success, including:

Before- and after-school tutoring
- RISE on Saturdays
- Restart classes and Apex credit recovery
- Your school counselor
- Your Principal and Assistant Principals

Stay focused, stay motivated, and continue striving for excellence both academically and personally.

As a reminder, school will not be in session on the following dates:

- January 19 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- February 9 – Lincoln’s Day
- February 16 – Presidents Day

Know that we believe in you and are proud of you. You are not alone on this journey—if you need support, we are here to help every step of the way. Remember, we are Stronger Together, and together we will make this a successful and rewarding second semester.

Let’s make 2026 a great year.

Go Jags!
